But, as bad as you think our seven current backups are, do you think that there's actually anyone out there better than our worst? I think it may be a case of thinking the grass is greener on that other side of the fence. I don't think there are but a small handful of teams that can go as deep as seven players deep on the offensive line without starting to hit major question marks.
Sure, we can swap out one or two of our deep backups, but there's no guarantee they would even be as good once you put them on the field. At this point is it worth getting rid of players that have been worked with and developed through the full camp just to throw someone else up against a wall just to see if they stick any better? |
