Compared to the amount of injuries we’ve had at other wide receiver options like Thomas and Jarvis Landry, etc. Smith has been very available. There were games when he was our best option even last year, when Olave was out with his concussions. I don’t think it’s necessarily his blocking that keeps him on the team, it’s the fact that he’s the one receiver that we’ve had consistently that knows the system. It is available to play over the last five years.
