Most of the Media Mafia was calling for the Titians … They live in that echo chamber.

Titans defense is legit. Also, Henry and Hopkins are HOF’ers.

Who here is watching the Broncos vs Raiders?

Ambush failed... but Trautman catches a ball. And LiLJordan catches a TD

One in the books. I’m optimistic but we’ve got to shore up the oline.

Seems to be little to no joy in the negasaints camp … Congrats to the Saints on a hard fought win, beat the Titians and the ref’s today.

Atlanta's QB had the best QB rating in the division today beating Carolina decisively. I predicted us to go 8-9. Nothing I saw today said OMG we are gonna be 20-0. Its good we won but this game was similar to our Week 1 win last year and not an indication that we are underestimated. We have serious problems to fix and we will face more capable pass rushers than Arden Key.

Shaheed started off giving the ball back to them around the 30. the first five scores were field goals, which doesn't inspire confidence in the red zone. The Saints weren't that good, but they were able to get more turnovers and key third down stops. I haven't seen the division highlights yet but we may need to earn the number one seed.

You are right! we have some serious problems to fix. Namely- Protection on the O line.

For some reason, I'm picturing Grupe's groupies pictures at a high school pep rally wearing black and gold and sporting braces.

It going to be tough to replicate what Payton did here. Especially competing with the roster of players that we upgraded from for good reason.

A WIN IS A WIN.. Feels good in an eerie way, but I’ll gladly be called out as “negasaint” or naysayer during games like today. Y’all know how I feel about our team being in the position to allow the refs, and in many cases, less than stellar teams to keep it that close, or to beat us. Looks like another Saints Season is underway and as iffy as sh*t… These games make me smoke too much, among other things… Anyway, WE WON! Love Y’All

Anybody questioning Allen decision to trade Lutz and keep Grupe this morning.

I have no doubt there will be at least a couple that will come up with some negative spin on the subject. ;)

Our Coaching is weak. Our Players are strong. Our Offensive Line is Offensive. Our Fans are the best in the world.

Yeah I heard Lutz left 4 points in the board. Missed a PAT and a FG. Basically lost the game for them.

Wowza.

Bright lights in the roaring Superdome and Grupe looked unfazed. Great first start by the Rookie.

I think there were 2 false starts by the Titans oline.

Dome crowd even brought their A game.

If Saints Games don’t make you crazy, then there’s gotta be something wrong with you.

Did anyone else notice we got penalised for one of the Titans D lineman calling our snap count?

Literally our entire O line and Carr pointed at their D lineman and the refs just ignored it and called the penalty on us.

Yup. That’s one I forgot to add to the refs screwing us.

The refs also screwed the Titans on that “forward pass” by Carr.

Clearly a fumble (arm wasn’t ‘moving forward) & the zebras blew it dead when it should have been 6 for the Titans.

So there’s that.

Missed calls on BOTH sides 🤷🏼

Here was an earlier take I had on the refs Major:

“ Carr’s “fumble”was no worse than the tuck rule. The league regularly leans towards an incomplete pass call on those types of plays.

I didn’t think the Titans defender demonstrated control of the ball inbounds on the fumble on the opening kickoff, but it was at least close.

The Non PI can in the 4th against Olave was the worst call/non call of the day.
The defender clearly dragged him down early while not playing the ball or looking back at all. They make that call and the game is sealed.

Apart from that, there were just numerous times I noticed our defensive ends getting dragged down that weren’t called. It just seem like frequently we get a play in our favor, like the Shaheed sweep run that was called back the stop on third down that was extended by holding on the Tipped pass play. I honestly felt the calls went their way more than the Saints.”

I am not going to lie... I did think of Tom Brady and the QB rules when that happened.
