I don't believe he has been ruled out ... yet. He just didn't practice. That's normal procedure for coming off a concussion on a Wednesday. They may not know for sure until Friday at the earliest.

Highs in the 60s on game day & around kickoff.

Perfect football weather.

Andrus Peat (DNP) on Thursday ... probably a long shot he plays on Sunday.

Highly compensated G missing a whole lot of games.

Saints defenitely need to address the Oline (G) in the draft and/or FA.

Juwan J (calf)... not sure if he makes the trip. At least Moreau is healthy.

Re: Week Five: Saints @ Patriots

Saw a glaring stat on the Patriots offense (10/3).

"Patriots offense through 4 games last season - 18.5 PPG

This season - 13.8 PPG"

Damn they are as awful as we are offensively. Mac Jones ain't it.

IIRC this was Smashmouth's favorite choice @ QB coming out of his draft class.

Agree about online needing to be addressed. What are your thoughts on moving Ram to G and going T in FA or draft?

Ramz will end his career at RT in NO. Moving a olineman from G to T is very difficult transition at this level. He's still good at the position, but no longer elite.

But I would most definitely target another RT in the draft and/or Free Agency. Ramz will be 30 years of age next season. Definitely time to groom someone behind him.

It sucks we lost Trai Turner with the injury @ training camp. IMO he would have been good depth at G for us. I'm not feeling Garcia and Nick S needs more reps.

I read somewhere about moving him to guard and from what they explained it seemed to make sense. Also I remember a few T in this past draft being projected to be better at G in the NFL. I thought that might’ve been an easy transition

Damn, I forgot about Nick S. I have pretty high hopes for him to pan out

Peat practiced today which is a sign that he may be cleared from concussion protocol.

You're spot on Sinner but I went back & watched the accelerated replay of the Pats/Dallas game ... Bill has a bad group on offense & Jones is starting to look like a bust @ QB. They're turrible (from a talent standpoint).

There is no reason for us NOT to win on tomorrow. Even with Allen & 2012 play calling Pete. But then again, I said the same thing against the damn Bucs :dunce:.

That doesn't really inspire confidence......

Have you watched the Patriots without Brady? Belichick is three games under .500 without #12 under center.

We may certainly have a better group on offense… and defense… maybe… but Belichick is a Chess Master. Dennis Allen is not. Should be interesting to say the least… or at least, I hope we can make it interesting.

Sean Payton gave Belicheat a good chess match. When an Alpha male competes against a Beta male the odds are usually in the Alphas favor. Unfortunately, for the Saints DA is a Beta trying to do an Alphas job.

I do believe that our defense will give the Pats a shot or two in the mouth though, and that might be the difference in this game.

I have a very good feeling that we'll see by far our best offensive output.
