THIS THURSDAY
Y’all have to admit that IF we somehow pull off a win AT HOME, against the favored JAGS, it would be a freaky anomaly, based on what we’ve seen, and a whole lotta fun for us… and yes, I am officially classified as a Negasaint since last year, when I was begging for DA to go back to what he was doing before, and allow a more competent and characteristic Head Coach to lead this team. I didn’t complain about our ongoing sketchy QB situation, injuries, penalties, or any of the factors that contributed to our losing, but the FIRE was/is missing, except from a few truly amazing Players (who are not being properly utilized/coached)… and that makes me mega-nega.
That being said, NOTHING would make me happier than seeing my Saints play more inspired football consistently, and put me back on my low dose aspirin and cigarettes to ride the crazy rollercoaster that used to be Saints Games. Let the record state: I WANT US TO WIN… or at least keep the game interesting while we rebuild. WHODAT! |

Just don't tell management we're rebuilding. It triggers them! |

Re: THIS THURSDAY
Rebuilding??? We haven’t even fired the problems yet and the owner needs to know they lose revenue everyday with this 💩 happening!!!

Re: THIS THURSDAY
Ticket sales are not most of the revenue! Do some homework! No one wants to wear a losing teams merchandise! If you hurt your possible future fan base that’s revenue!!!

Re: THIS THURSDAY
With the short week it made sense not to make any coaching moves. If we win, great. If we lose big, a 10 day break is a great time to make a coaching change.

Man I miss seeing my team play four quarters of inspired football…
|
Re: THIS THURSDAY
I feel bad that Drew had to witness that in person.
Bet he was deciphering the defense pre-snap in his head, only for the outcome to be completely different to what he would have done. |

I massively took it for granted because he made it look so normal. I'm seeing plays Carr and the offense didn't make, where Brees would have recognised coverage, pumped to move the D and then come back opposite side to Shaheed for a huge gain. He made it look so routine. The coaches need to go but man, Carr is missing some reads and throws too. Accuracy seems to be an issue. Throws too low one play, too high the next. |

I'm no expert but is Carr throwing with his eyes closed? |
Re: THIS THURSDAY
6 games in, I’m not impressed with DCarr at all.
Too many sideline reporters are saying the same thing. “Holding on to the ball too long & he’s not throwing WRs open”. He missed a WIDE OPEN Shaheed in the back of the end-zone … twice. That make shift oline gave him time. |
Re: THIS THURSDAY
O line wasn't as bad as I thought they'd be last night.

Pete C definitely needs to go, but I honestly think Carr is part of the problem now too. He throws with no anticipation. He doesnt go through reads, he zeros in on one receiver. Throws being too low one play and then too high the next. Taking forever to release the ball so coverage gets tighter. Throws deep on 3rd and 5, but short on 3rd and long. If this season is truly lost, I think the rookie QB should see some time. A loss is a loss, and we are great at losing. So what's the worst that could happen. |
