Saints vs. Jaguars GAMEDAY THREAD

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know a lot of you don't believe in Carr but I do. I just think he needs the right play-caller and the right damn line....

I am a big fan of the number 19. It is no secret. But this **** is scary. I didn’t even support excepting him onto the team. We had a very fine kicker. Number 19 superstitions excluded that was too close for comfort.

Why can't we run it up the gut and make it when it's first and 2 on the goal line?

It's easy to get caught up in the emotions of a game and not see the full picture. Carr is being hamstrung by the people in charge and the line. He's going to end up changing a lot of minds if we fix that in the offseason.

I’m not cursing. That was last week. I’m laughing.

I'm starting to see that Carr is part of the problem.
I've seen missed opportunities in some coverages.
He can't read and react fast enough and receivers are open in tight windows he should make. He misses a lot.

Saw him miss 2 wide open receivers last week.
I'm not impressed. Trust me I gave him the benefit at first.

Our line is so porous that it's hard for him to get through his progressions.

I've seen him flat footed, inside the opponents 10 yard line, and receivers come open and he does not react fast enough to pitch it to them.

Review the missed touchdown in 1st quarter where Shaheed was wide open, Carr did not throw, Shaheed had to double back and Carr threw it to him back of end zone when he was less open.

Just sayin. I saw this last week too. Receiver open early and Carr cannot or does not see it.
