OBSERVATIONS FROM THE SAINTS LOSS TO THE LIONS: PRE-GAME EDITION…

Put a giant paper bag over the Dome before this weekend, and write: KEEP OUT on it. After listening to our sorry excuse of a Head Coach speak this week, the Lions and the Media need to visit an empty stadium to witness and participate in the devastation that’s about to ensue. No dedicated Fan should have to endure this, after all we’ve been through.

If I am proven wrong, I will bow to Quido… but we’ll STILL be in trouble as a franchise, for quite some time to come.

Wish I was in a better mood, but I’m not.

I have no clue what you posted in your opening post, but can't you please move to some other Saints forum and ruin it instead? PM me and I'll gladly send you links.

You'd be wrong, Major. But, I didn't need too. It had to have been some iteration of "Fire Dennis Allen" just like 90% of all his posts that I see in replies. Fine. Fire Dennis Allen. I don't care, but as SFIAH begged recently why can't he just create one thread that he can bump instead of inserting it in every thread over and over again and now "presumably" starting another thread saying the same thing?

We could win this game. You never know. It all depends on how the ball bounces. On any given Sunday......

No one thought we would beat the Colts either. Just sayin'. :bng:

Dude, you need to go back to posting meaningless yawn-worthy stats, and stock up on your preferred hand lotion for this weekend, and simply IGNORE me venting about my sorry a$$ team.

And winning this game would do what besides secure a sub-mediocre future of “just keep doing what you’re doing”?

I don't know what to think of the Lions game. On the one hand given that we are due for a win, the Lions have been shaky their last few games, and there are rumors there QB is injured we could arguably have a 20-30% shot, not that it would really mean a ton just one fluke game at home.

On the other hand Dennis Allen is 1 for 12 against winning teams with the Saints and completely 0-fer against winning teams with the Raiders so one could argue we only have a 5% chance against the Lions. And then one could look at all our injuries, and that fact that Dennis Allen's only win ever against a winning team came against their a winless backup QB, and and argue we have a less than 5% chance to win.

I can see both sides to it and I don't know if our chance is 5% or 20% but I have the sense its somewhere in that range.

I just want to say that the name of this thread is absolutely hilarious! It made me laugh my ass off and echos the the thoughts that I have going into this game: The Saints have zero chance of winning this game.

I’d love to eat crow after the game, but it’s not happening. Lol

They say that hope is the last thing to go… I’d like to think that it’s a sense of humor. That’s all I got now.

I do.

One team has quality coaching, assistants and the other has substitute teachers and a QB that acts like a petulant child after over throwing his WRs 5 yards out of bounds .

A little levity is the only way to weather the chit storm ... And like Foreverfan used to say: Expect a loss, and if they win, it's a surprise bonus!
We've come full circle from way back, haven't we?

As things stand, we might (unfortunately) do a PRE-SEASON “OBSERVATION OF ANTICIPATED LOSS” Thread. I really wish it wasn’t such a bad joke.

You know you're in trouble when Underhill asks your so called leader at QB about his deficiencies & inability to score in the red zone and Carr's response : .... "You're going to keep asking the same question, and I'm going to keep giving a lot of words and no answer, because I'm not gonna tell ya".

WTF? What QB responds to valid criticsm like that?? This is a result driven business Mr. Carr. It's pretty clear he isn't a problem solver. Just likes to ignore real issues and deflect blame.

I've lost a TON of respect for Derek. Oakland fans were on to something.

I hope Underhill continue to roast his a** in his daily reporting.

Our team has become a pathetic cartoon.

Football is unique. In no other sport is a team so adversely impacted by bad coaching. And in no other is bad coaching easy to identify by all fans paying any moderate level of attention.

Who does Mickey think he's fooling here (other than himself)?

One quick observation here: The WEARER OF THE "Glass half full" CROWN, LOVINGLY EMBRACES "MEDIOCRITY". "Half Full" Contains 50% of it's capacity and they are satisfied with it.

The "Half Empty" observers, understand ONLY 100% IS ACCEPTABLE
