Re: Week Fourteen: Panthers @ Saints
Virtually every offensive lineman coming out needs developing. It's the nature of the beast and why there is such a shortage. That doesn't mean you quit drafting and developing what is clearly the second most important position group in the NFL today.

Re: Week Fourteen: Panthers @ Saints
True Dat! But maybe we should focus on successful large football programs that put out players who are well trained. No more players from ____________ (insert name here).

Yup. Like Cesar Ruiz from Michigan. Or Ryan Ramczyk from Wisconsin. Or Erik McCoy from Texas A&M.

Re: Week Fourteen: Panthers @ Saints
Wasn't Ruiz drafted to play center and McCoy locked the job down in training camp? So, they move him to guard, which isn't ideal since he was an undersized center to begin with. Of course, the Saints do what they do best.....move players to another position they have never played before or since middle school. It happens all the time and seldom works well.
