So overall we have a 1 in 6 chance to win the division, get obliterated in the playoffs, get a worse draft pick, and have a super hard schedule next year. Maybe its actually best if all that happens to get DA fired in 2024. If he loses by 20 points in the playoffs and then goes 5-12 on the season in 2024 maybe that could do it. The trouble is even making the playoffs this year could convince Loomis we are one player away and cause him to trade away our 2025 1st round pick and break the bank in free agency to get those one or two players that after 16 weeks to adjust to our scheme will make up our 20 point first round playoff loss deficit.

Want to place a wager on the game? I know you are wanting the Saints to lose so you might as well place your money where your heart is, right?

I have no reason to gamble with you on a game I believe is 50-50. If you want to bet with me 50-50 on the Saints making the playoffs or bet 50-50 on a game if we make the playoffs that is fine. I could see arguments that we have a 2 out of 3 chance of beating the Falcons, though I don't agree with those arguments, so a 2 to 1 bet does not really intrigue me, although it is probably a good bet. If you want to bet 50 against 20 on the Saints vs Falcons I would definitely take that. |
