This game absolutely proves the entire coaching staff needs to be fired tomorrow morning.

Are we better than the Vikings? They beat us with their 3rd string QB. They will finish with 1-2 less wins but against a 1st place schedule where they played SF, PHI, KC, DET 2x. So we won't be the best team in the NFC not to make the playoffs. Also GB beat us head to head, and Seattle has the same record as us in a much harder division, and at least one of them won't make the playoffs.

We are a completely mediocre team that is about to split our series with Atlanta when their preferred QB is hurt.

Of all damn teams we had to rely on. A team that won 2 games.

Panthers are the worst team in the NFL. No way was I going to put any hopes on that.

Of all the teams we had to rely on, the SAINTS would have been our best option. ALL YEAR.

He isn’t going anywhere obviously. We can only hope for a competent OC and coaching staff next year.

Which part? I’m only being cautiously optimistic. I would like us to go the Payton route in Denver and redo everything.

Well, we beat the Failclowns, so that’s a good thing. Thought Miller looked good, some other good things at times. So theirs that I reckon. F the falcons, we need to remember that. There’s been years when this is all we had to look forward to.

Did you ever flick a grain of sand? That’s what the rest of the NFL is about to do to our Saints. Just like I’m doin to you now. Cheers.

Mickey Loomis is running the show. 9-8 season is seen as an improvement over the past 2 seasons. Loomis has already said Dennis Allen's job is safe before playing today. With a 2 game surge wins at the end of the season, I seriously double coordinators will change. I'm not Nostradamus, but that's the general feeling.

It's a shame the team looks like it's peaking at the right time, only to be out of the playoffs. If only one of those stupid games had gone for a win, this team would have a chance to show everyone some competition in the post season.

Saints should have been able to easily win 12 this past year.

Yes keep running Williams. You need to try to justify the signing and the contract. Annoying.

9-8 is who we are, no-playoffs is about right.
We had ample opportunities this season, head to head, to make playoffs.
The Rams were so far ahead of us 3 weeks ago in a must win game, but we suddenly came together AFTER that game. If the season were 2 or 3 games longer we would suffer another overconfident, poorly coached defeat next week. We can't string 3 wins in a row, which says something about consistency.

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

I’m glad we won this game. I hate the Falcons.

The way I see it, DA is here for another season even if we lose this game. Unfortunately.

I was just hoping for the best in a win and maybe a playoff birth just to see what happens.

The only thing I can hope for now is PC getting canned. Which also probably won’t happen. Unfortunately.

So here’s to another season of Saints football. Hopefully we’re all here next year. Cheers to all our health.

lol. To be as sad and pathetic as you are. You’re not Saints fan, you’re Saints fake. For every one of you they’re 20 to 50 times as many of us. The fact that you’re allowed to troll Guido as much as you are is kind of comical. If you can dish it out, I hope you can take it. Because of you I no longer really want to come to these boards. More than myself have called you out on your BS but you continue to post your nonsense and act like a little whiny *****. You put so much energy towards something that you say you love when you actually show no love to the Saints or any of the other fans of the team. Your weak and the antithesis of your avatar. Get ready for the onslaught. Might as well tuck your tail and go away.

To be honest, it's nice seeing a game where it's completely out of hand but in our favour.

I know it's not the season we had in mind, but me personally I've needed something to smile about because life at home is not great recently with my wife and I separating.

For once, it's nice to see 40 points being next to our name lol

Don’t make it personal son, these are highly trained multimillionaire professionals that are serving up your butthurt this year.
