Question for the Forum
 

I re-watched the Saints 2006 Div playoff game against the Eagles on YouTube today.

My question is: if the NFCC game had been played in the Superdome instead of Soldier Field, would the Saints have won, with everything else being as historic as far as injuries, etc AND if they had, would they have beaten the Colts in the Super Bowl?

If the Saints played that game in the Superdome they would have had a much better chance, but I believe would have still lost the game. The reason I say that is because they had no answer for Jones and Benson and a very good defense that would have done enough to slow the Saints offense down.

If the Saints would have some how made it past the Bears, I don't think the Saints could have kept up with Manning and a great running game of Rhodes and Addai.

One additional note, that Eagles game was arguably the best game of Deuce McAllister's career. The Saints have needed another Deuce since the day he retired.

Then Drew threw him high swing pass and he blew his knee out. He never publicly went after Drew for it like MT did to Carr.
