In this case, what choice does she have? Its no shock that there could be corruption in large public construction contracts in Louisiana. So if she does not want to deal with this BS it would seem that her options would be to move the team outside the state of Louisiana, self-finance her own stadium in the New Orleans region for at least $1 billion cash which she does not have and deal with permitting BS, or seek public funding for a new stadium the team could control, which would not likely be popular with enough votes. And to do any of these things she would have to navigate the team's existing Superdome lease which is negotiated many years in advance and risk letting it expire to time a stadium building effort or move to 2030 or whatever. I think the whole reason the state keeps upgrading the Superdome instead of building new is that its easier to embezzle from renovations where costs are harder to compare and more variable, but I don't think the Saints can do anything about it.
