Re: Kool-Aid McKinstry R2 Pick
He is one of the last players tutored by Nick Saban. He has the right training and coaching to be a pro bowler in DA's system. I like the pick.
Oh yeah, he's not a reach even though we traded up to get him. He's great value in the second round. :biggun: |
Re: Kool-Aid McKinstry R2 Pick
Four legit CB's in a passing league. Injuries happen. Can't pay everyone. Great value pick for this season and beyond.

Re: Kool-Aid McKinstry R2 Pick
Personally, I think Kool Aid would flourish in a zone system like Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Baltimore. However, he's talented enough to still make an impact down here in New Orleans. He has great hips. That's super important for the position. He also uses the sideline as his friend and has good timing on PBU's. I believe he has a high ceiling.

Re: Kool-Aid McKinstry R2 Pick
I realize that the second round players want to see how much money the players picked ahead of them are getting paid and then maximize their contract. But, dang it man. He's got an injury right now and I think he's missing rookie mini camp too.
We have a strong CB room and we need everyone to stay healthy if we want to see the playoffs. |

That said, I believe he signed yesterday. He missed nothing. |
