I'm willing to see what the team Offense looks like, post-PC. Being #3 in win % is a deceptive stat tho... especially when you look a bit deeper and you see the list he beats out has some pretty infamous names on it AG.

Other sub .500 notables: Ditka, both Bum and Wade Philips, Haslett, Nolan, and Fears.

Mora and SP are the only coaches out of the 17 who had winning records.

Even by the Saints HC measuring stick, that bar is pretty low. DA may have wins, but he's still a HC with a losing record in charge of the Saints (17-18 after 2 years)

Like I said in another thread... I'm acting like I'm from Missouri this season. SHOW ME!

After a 3–13 finish from a year earlier under “new head coach” Jim Haslett, the Saints finished with a 10–6 record to win the NFC West and advanced to the playoffs for the first time since 1992. They also won their first ever playoff game in franchise history by defeating the defending Super Bowl champion St. Louis Rams (The Greatest Show on Turf) in the wild-card round, with ARRON BROOKS at the helm at QB.

Our Dennis Allen/Derek Carr combination cannot even hold a match to that.

Let's not forget that the great Sean Payton went 21-27 over a three year stretch in 2014-2016. That's a worse losing record with the Saints than Allen has experienced.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Allen is anything special, but there's no indication he is as bad as some imply. That Raiders team that he was saddled with was one of the most dysfunctional in NFL history.

You’re “not saying that Allen is anything special”.
Yet, he is the Saints HEAD COACH, which basically says it all.
I’m sorry brother. A HEAD COACH needs to be something special.

True Dat! But in the meantime maybe KK will be the kind of influence that left with Payton.

Barry Switzer won a SB and he was a crappy head coach.

Y’all have to admit that we are in a precarious position as fans, when we accept a HEAD COACH who lacks the fire that a HEAD COACH is supposed to bring. We are stuck between wanting to have a decent enough season (maybe thanks to K.K.) to keep an unspectacular HEAD COACH around for yet another painful year… or being okay with performing so poorly, that we let this dud go, and begin yet another “rebuild” phase for how many more years?

Meanwhile, other organizations are building CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL TEAMS as we speak…

Yup. On the other hand, Dan Reeves, Bud Grant, Marv Levi, Marty Schottenheimer, Don Coryell, and Chuck Knox are among the outstanding coaches who never won a Super Bowl.

They certainly made the game more entertaining though. Since you are famously quoted as saying, “Winning championships is jot the goal”, one would think that you’d at least want to be more entertained after driving 10 hours for every home game… but alas, you are happy with no championships AND a boring Head Coach that our players don’t respect on the sidelines.

Hey, Sinner! You hit the nail on the head. It's like we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I feel your pain! I really do! I had to watch the same crap you did for the last two years.

On the bright side, the draft and free agency reinforcements are here and there is a new sense of urgency under our new OC, Klint Kubiak. He was recruited and hired by New Orleans to take us out of the dark ages and bring us into the hottest football concept since the west coast offense was introduced by Bill Walsh.

Edit: I'm listening to my getting ready play list and the song "Got a Feeling" by Bonti, that I wish everyone would look up for a good vibe. It would sound awesome played in the Dome on game day.
