Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey ranked Allen 32nd among the NFL’s 32 head coaches.
“Dennis Allen is the head coaching version of sitting on a whoopie cushion. The Saints have been dreadfully boring with no sense of direction ever since Sean Payton stepped away. They are 16-18 over their last two seasons and find themselves in quarterback purgatory as Derek Carr is clearly not the future. The Saints’ best option would be to finally blow everything up and begin to rebuild in 2025. It would be three years after they should have done it, but better late than never.”

I try to be positive but DA just isn't giving me the right vibes. I hoped he would grow with the job but he's not inspiring in the least.

Yeah, well we've had ****ty ones before, we probably have ****ty ones again in the future, just hope we can get a good one at some point along the way. Kinda like the idiots who run the country. Nothing you or I, or anyone else can do about it.

We are the fans, the paying customer, the so-called constituents (in the political sense). To assume the position that “there is nothing that you or I, or anyone else can do about it”, is to send a clear message to the service provider to “just keep doing what you’re doing.” If our team has a long history of sucky coaches and mediocre performance, or if we are governed by idiocy, there is definitely something to look at within ourselves.

Just think, Dougie Pederson was in the building.
He's already taken the Jags to the divisonal rd in post season and cooked the Saints last season on prime time TV in the dome. Anything less than a playoff appearance for Allen, he should be replaced. Saints are approaching year 4 without a playoff appearance. Unacceptable. |
