I don't think that there is an other player in the NFL that matches Kamara's balance. He and Pierre Thomas are very similar.

To me he sort of “glides” while he’s running. He just always looks smooth and in control.

But many on the forum have maintained that he sucks (or some form of that opinion). I can’t agree that his performance (especially with the Saints so far) warrant that opinion.

But he doesn't suck. Not by your definition and not by the generic definition. I'd argue that he's better than a majority of the QB's in the NFL right now and better than a handful of Superbowl winners as well. I'd certainly pick Carr over Dilfer and Brad Johnson.

See? “He doesn’t suck” and everything you wrote after that, means - we stay mediocre enough to keep him in the driver’s seat just long enough to keep us mediocre before developing fresher talent and having to do a soft-rebuild around whoever that might be. And it goes on and on…

Ice, to be honest, Carr could come out sprinkled in gold glitter if he wanted to! As long as he can keep being a top 10 QB like this past weekend, I'm good with it and will defend his right to wear it to my grave! :bng:

Injuries were ugly yesterday and I hope that Marshon can play a full season. If not, this defensive backfield is the best the Saints have ever had and they should still be very good.
The offensive line played well yesterday. I hope the LG's toe injury isn't terrible. Penning played well.

For a split second, I thought you were going to say "fingernail polish like me" . :awe: :D

The thing Penning does well here is putting himself in a good position and then anchoring and standing his ground and then flipping his hips and driving Clowney upfield and away from the QB. A lot of his problems before has been frantically backpeddeling while being too high and with a narrow base just being pushed straight back into the QB.

Only one play but that is encouraging.

Downfield blocking by the WR's is a key component to the success of the Shanahan/Kubiak offensive scheme.

I'm believing all of it and, yes, the change in offensive coordinator was HUGE.

We’ll find out on the road against the Cowboys. Big spotlight on this one.

One of my favourite images from the game, was when Carr threw the TD to Moreau - when he ran to the sideline, Olave was absolutely beaming with joy and laughing when Carr was celebrating with Demario.

I know it's only the panthers, but it's HOW we won.

The offensive scheme looked lightyears ahead of anything we've seen. We had balance, effective running and passing game.

Grupe hit all his kicks.

Punt block and an almost punt return TD.

Defense put Bryce in his place. Great team effort.

The Dallas game won't be as easy, but if they play like that, we have a chance.

Just as advertised. This offense is as foreign as you can get from that crap thrown out there by Pete Carmichael. Thank God!

Carr's QB Rating was 142.5, by the way.

Not bad. Two of the top ten rated passing blocking offensive linemen in the league in week one, Fuaga and Ruiz.

What is the thing with drafting players and moving them? jk

Seriously though, he's gonna' be special.

Two Saints TE's are in the top four of fantasy scoring TE's after week one and neither is named Taysom Hill.

Actually the QBR is a better system because it's scaled 1-100, as opposed to 0-158.3, which is just a tad overcomplicated.
