Very Superstitious!
 

No fan base in the NFL can be more superstitious than the Who Dat Nation.
That being said, there are more than a few of us who are not going to change up things we're doing for next week's game for fear of breaking the MoJo.

So I'm curious: What are you going to keep doing (Clothing, Drinks, Menus, Personal Hygiene, etc.) until the magic wears off? :bng:

Agreed! It surprised me that Gayle Benson made a point to wear the brooch she wore at the Saints Superbowl to yesterday's game.

Same noon game routine. Screwdrivers mixed in the parking garage for the walk to Daisy Mae's on Poydras. Breakfast of chicken fried steak and bottomless Bloody Mary's there. Walk to Champion's Square with "to go" styrofoam cup. All the while wearing my Guido Merkens #19 throwback jersey. Head up to the club level and grab a comfortable chair or sofa and watch some pregame on the TV's while waiting for the players to come out for warm-ups. Post game meal at Juan's Flying Burrito on Baronne while waiting for the traffic to ease.

Cigarettes, double espresso, low dose aspirin at kickoff…
Cigarettes, low dose aspirin, lasagna and cabernet sauvignon for the second half.

I did completely different things for both games, so try something new.

I wore my home made Saints jersey that was made for my twin brother and I by our broker, Gold shorts, leather belt, Saints cap with the big jaw guy, and black underwear to complete the ensemble.

I rarely drink these days, so I'm able to recall how well we played. Not the usual drink to forget routine. :chug:

For me, it's a tumbler with bourbon and wearing my black Deuce McAllister jersey. I also have to sit in my preferred recliner spot in the family room.

I have a game day Saints shirt. Just so happened I watched the first two games of the season at my Mom's house, not sure how much that part will be repeated.

Here’s what I’ve done differently. Number one I ordered Chinese food. Number two. I’m watching at home on regular TV. Number three. I’m went and picked up two of my favorite beers; Abita purple haze, Sierra Nevada, pale.

Ok. So since we lost last weekend, the following rules apply for me:

No Chinese food for the game

No Abita or Sierra Nevada Beer

No watching Sunday early games at home on regular broadcast.

To get this week’s game I’ll Have to go to the bar I went to in week 1. Maybe I’ll do that. Banged up team.

I wore a new Saints Hawaiian shirt I picked up in Honolulu the previous week. I won't wear it on game day ever again.

Found myself drinking a Kona and wearing blue, other than my Saints hat, when the Saints won game one. Did the same for game two. Tried it for game three. Oh well. Will be wearing my Saints hat and t-shirt with sweats and drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale this week. No red to be found.

I changed out all my Saints gear to see if that would help on game day and it didn't.
