My Apologies to the Forum
 

I am sorry that I finally snapped from the continued trolling by a couple of other members. I was mentored by fellow members to ignore the incessant crap and have for months. It finally got far too deep for my patience. I'll do my very best to avoid both while doing my best to share what I can via new and genuine excitement over what I see as being a promising season ahead.

Once again, sorry for giving in as I did.

What did you give in to? Doubting Trevor Penning after only 2.5 years of struggles? A lot of Panthers fans are giving in to the same thing about Bryce Young in less time. Uncertainty exists. Every rational person is surprised how our offensive line held up against Micah Parsons. We all have the right to believe, not believe, and be right or wrong. Florida State fans who went into this season believing in a championship were not necessarily better off. Miami fans who said Tua would play 20 years and were 100% confident in paying him $50 million a year were not necessarily better off. I think it is important that we all have a capacity for both skepticism and optimism, and if you weren't skeptical of our offensive line after week 1 of preseason I don't know that you could have any capacity for skepticism.

I thought the point was to ignore them. Responding only puts gas on the fire. That "INGORE" option really does help with your sanity. (It doesn't block the quotes from others , but it sure helps with the troll bait.)

It is quite the psychological catharsis here… where grown men who lead (one would think) normal lives, get to follow a professional sports team, and get online to discuss how we feel about this aspect of the Entertainment Industry.

The Forum is primarily about SAINTS FOOTBALL, but the personalities of each Fan have trigger points that tap into deep childhood sh*t, that one would hope might get sorted elsewhere, but here we are, working through it on the internet, hopefully with some logic and compassion.

What really matters (here) is that THE SAINTS ARE WINNING.

So, as long as the multimillionaires that get paid to entertain us, are finding a way to get their job done right, we hundredaires and thousandaires can find a way to get along. We are all in this together. And THE SAINTS… ARE WINNING!

It doesn't actually work because even if you have someone on ignore, their posts come through on quoted replies like this one. You're going to see them anyway.

If the “IGNORE” function fails, there is always the “SCROLL” function, which requires only a slight swipe of the finger. Coupled with an eye roll (there’s even an emoji for that), it works wonders. 😉

No playoffs again, but I don't want to be negative. I am at least positive dennis allen will be back for you guys to enjoy yet again next season. Yay. See, I am positive

Apology accepted. Now that we are headed to the BOTTOM of the division, you can go back to watching Nickelodeon, instead of loading up this forum with cartoons.
