I live in South Dakota but for NFL purposes I effectively live in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Yeah. I was born and lived in South Dakota until the spring of 1967. I was a Packers fan at the time because that's just what you were from there. Dad was transferred (USAF) to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and I learned my new state was getting its own team that Fall and I converted right away.

I might get out of the house on Sunday to go to a restaurant and watch the Saints game. The Chiefs game is going to be against the Chiefs, refs, NFL, Swifties, Kelce's and Lord knows who else and to be real I'm kind of feeling Chiefs fatigue already. Don't know if I want that to be my first game to watch.

I’ve been to Rapid City a few times. I used to live in Billings.

That's where I was born. We could see Dinosaur Park at the top of the mountain from our first home. Our second home was never found (we had been transferred by then) after the Canyon Lake flood when the dam broke. It was on Rapid Creek downstream about three miles or so.

Beautiful area up there in Eastern Montana and Western South Dakota. Great place to visit, but tough places to live as an adult.
