My Coffee Table is an Alter. One fresh unopened pack of American Spirit Organic Cigarettes, little container of low dose aspirin, hand made black espresso cup with gold leaf fleur de lis is in position, massive snack tray in place, waiting to be stocked up, incense wine and candles for the second half, Norman Hand (#99) jersey draped over the couch, BBQ Grill cleaned and ready…

And the feeling has returned… the roller coaster has momentum!

THE SAINTS ARE WINNING. Yeah, funny (not) how talking heads are quick to say, “It’s only week 2” and “The Panthers are bad and Dallas just had an off week”, or “Too early to talk about the Playoffs or the Super Bowl”, but this week, this game, at home, against Philly, IS the only game that matters. And it doesn’t feel like our boys are ready to take their foot off the gas pedal. Whatever crazy good JUJU (and preparation) has descended upon the 2024 Saints, it’s for real, no matter how surreal it feels to me right now.

Not gonna predict a blowout, although that is entirely possible, but a WIN is on my menu. TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY! I (we) have waited so long for this!
