Re: Observations from Saints and Eagles game in the Superdome

Everyone, everywhere could tell that the O line was in disarray. Carr had under a second on nearly every play, play action even less than that.
Eagles were stopping the wide runs because they were controlling the line of scrimmage.
So when they continually sent the 5 or 6 players, where was the fricking screen game?
Where was Jamaal Williams on short yardage?
Where was max protection to help the guards?
Where were the chips by the TE's or running backs to slow the rush?
How about a wide receiver reverse when they go all in on stopping Kamara??
The 2 point conversion play was vintage Carmichael and a bad decision and pass by Carr.
I really hope I'm wrong, but the lack of adjustment to something as clear as day, makes me think the first 2 weeks on offense were a fluke.
From what I've been reading, TEs were invisible because they were in protection most of the game. I can't really argue with your other observations. Let's hope this is filed under "Lessons Learned" by the coaching staff and we go on a tear through the ATL!
