I like getting Khalen Sanders back this week.

Adding another big body to the defensive rotation will be a good thing.

I thought the team abandoned the run game too early in the game last week, even before McCoy went out. Hopefully not the case this week.

Living in Atlanta, I can't have the failclowns winning for my mental well being.

Tough loss last week. Expecting to see a nice rebound against the FailClowns. :beatnik:

McCoy went out on the third play from scrimmage of the game. The Saints attempted a run on four of the first five plays from scrimmage. They ended the game with 29 rushing plays and 26 passing plays.

According to weather reports, Atlanta could get CAT 2 type winds.

Prayers to all the folks in the greater ATL & surrounding areas.

Hopefully no serious outages or flooding 🙏.

Re: Week 4: Saints @ Falcons

The Falcons might beat us. The Falcons might win 10 games. Then they will probably get smashed in the playoffs and be in a worse cap situation. And Cousins will be a year older. I just don't buy that Kirk Cousins + Raheem Morris + Terry Fontenot decision making + Atlanta Falcons culture = championship.

Fortunately turned out to be a big whiff for the most part. Storm tracked much farther east than predicted. Metro Atlanta only caught the back, west side of the storm. A ton of rain, some flooding, a little wind, and a bunch of downed trees.

We didn't even lose power.

I went out this afternoon. Except for some flooded spots you would not have known a storm had just blown through.

Whats the story on Tipton? Speed guy? Possession type?
I've read he's a really good blocker too.

Guess not :(.

Looks like Fuaga, Patrick, Lemieux, Young and Penning on Sunday.

I'd still elevate Hergel on game day.

Apparently Salvideri is way down the depth chart.

I don't know why but I ate the cheese on Salvideri. That sucks.

We moved up in the fourth round trading into the first draft of the day for him. You would think he would be playing better. However, we still have to get over the bad coaching he had the last year.

Shaheed was invisible (0 catches/5 targets) vs Philly.

Gotta show up tomorrow.

Hergel has been elevated from the practice squad. Good call, K!

A good rule of thumb on mid round draft picks is that you have to take more than one at a position over the years to hit, they dont all hit. And if you have one who doesn't see the field at all, thats a bad sign, not a sign that they have unlimited potential yet to be discovered.

I don't see that one in my Rule of Thumb on Mid-Round Picks Manual. I suppose it's an addendum.

By that logic you’d also have to look up players like Jermon Bushrod, Jahri Evans, and Carl Nicks. The draft as a whole is one big crap shoot.
