What is the over/under on the number of games before he is injured again?

3 - 3.5?

The offensive line is offensive. Lamar Jackson would be getting killed back there, much less Carr.

We need a new Head Coach.

If the team is bringing Carr back at 30-70%, we could be in for some very rough weeks and wishing it was Haener.

At this point, I wouldn’t mind some early Haslett/Brooks.

Feel like a dumbass for buying his shirt when we got him. Thank goodness it was only one of those T-shirts with his number and name and not an actual jersey. That would have really pissed me off.

Re: Derek Carr return week 9

If Carr stays healthy for the rest of the year its possible we could finish 7-10, maybe even 8-9 if we really excel. Do they hand out rings for finishing 7-10? If so, we better get one now while we are in that window because it will only be harder next year when Kamara, Lattimore, Jordan, Davis, Mathieu, etc are all a year older.

The trouble is, I don't think you get a ring for going 7-10 or 8-9 or even 9-8 which is pretty insane because winning slightly more games than you lost is such an amazing accomplishment. Apparently all you get for those records is a worse draft pick and bragging rights for beating division rivals once which they can brag the same. Maybe the fact that going .500-ish in this league does not result in a ring was the flaw in paying Derek Carr up to $50m/year. For $10 on amazon I could send a broom to Carolina, but Mickey Loomis decided to spend $150,000,000 to do the same.

It doesn’t matter who is back there. If they can’t read and predict the defense like Brees, they’re dead meat. Lol

That would actually be extremely impressive given the ridiculous number of key injuries the team has had to endure.

Not as impressive as watching REAL TEAMS play the Super Bowl in Gayle’s house, while our Saints play tiddllywinks with you on the couch.

Hey, he made the effort to post a gif or whatever the fk that is, of Loomis and Dennis Allen standing side by side.

The Saints have a DECENT roster with a horrible coach. As I posted in another thread with SP this team is at worst 4-5, 5-4. DA is NOT a head coach. He’s an offensive coordinator, just like my friend is a nurse not a surgeon.

He’s not much of a coordinator, but he’s definitely offensive.

I don't trust the Saints medical staff very much. I'm worried about how much this oblique injury has healed and the chances of setbacks. If I were Carolina, I'd stack the box and make Carr prove the oblique is healed enough to make the intermediate/deep throws.

At least twice last year they rushed Carr back too soon and borked our chances to win those games. Don't want to see it again.

Well now that everyone's come back down to earth from the Rattler experience, I think we just have to Coast out the year hoping Carr can stay as healthy as he can. Not a real positive outlook, but it is what it is at this point in time in the season.

Saints should consider outsourcing their medical staff.

Same with the Pels.

i'll keep my pipe raised high! Hah. Well, his return should answer a few questions, or at least make it apparent which direction we are heading, either good or bad. If bad, then maybe the Mickster may be forced to make a decision...not holding my breath.

Please don’t hold your breath. And maybe pass the pipe to Guido, so he can have one stuck into both ends. He’s gonna need it for this Sunday.
