I think it would probably be more likely that they were expected to have warmed up prior to taking the field for practice as opposed to an organized warmup session as the first step of organized practice. Could this have allowed some players to cut corners in their preparation before hitting the field? Possibly so. I know for at least home games all players are out there on the field going through pre-game warmups. I can't speak to practice, however.
The fact that we easily have the most bizarre, soft tissue injuries in the league, to me easily points that something fundamental wasn't being done.

Everything here is starting to make sense all of a sudden, with DA and Loomis being at the core of it all.
