Saints Eliminated from the Playoffs
 

For anyone who had hopes this team could make the playoffs... it was never going to happen for this team. With one of the worst Saints seasons in a very long time comes mathematical playoff elimination, which is now official as of yesterday.

Kept DA around far too long. Not that this season would have been playoff bound with Rizzi, but DA and Loomis made it unsalvageable.

Injuries were brutal, but this team is old and top heavy on cap money for non-producers, or sometimes producers. I'm not convinced Mickey Loomis is the guy to rebuild this team.

The worst coach in franchise history is gone. We may not be a playoff team but things are fairly okay now.

D.A. should have never been in the Head Coach position to begin with. Derek Carr would have been better off in a Raider trash can, than here. We would have been better off right now, if we would have started a serious rebuild as soon as Drew left the building and Sean Payton started packing his bags.

There’s this years “shoulda woulda coulda” (again).

Now we get to watch other teams play championship football through the Holidays (again), and talk about putting uncertain pieces into position to test next year (again), to see what gels enough to maybe make us mediocre.

Total bummer. (again)

Credit card balance catches up with the Saints. Time for CC counseling for a year, maybe two, and get back in the black. It'll be worth it the talent is so far down the charts . No more contracts to old players , please .
