Dark days are definitely back. Have to watch a real coach turn the Broncos around completely in just 2 seasons.

Doesn’t get mentioned often enough over the course of the season but we need upgrades at BOTH guard spots.

Ruiz is still a liability, not to mention he lead the Saints in penalties for 2024.

Anyone remember how critical Carl Nicks & Evans were during that 09 Superbowl run?

Man…I feel like I’m the only one that keeps harping on this. We need dominate Guards to run the ball the way we want to.

There is also a risk that Erik McCoy is beginning to break down. He is still young, but sometimes with these big oline, the first season they miss the majority of games with multiple injuries, its the beginning of the end.

Another argument to improve at the guard position is that it could prolong McCoys career. If we go with WR, pass rush, QB, etc as our biggest needs and ask McCoy to continue playing alongside the 'next man up' it might not be a big surprise if he continues to break down after signing a long term contract extension and we are stuck with more dead money on McCoy than Carr.

Sure be nice if the scouts could actually go and find a paid like Evand and Nicks in the 4/5th rounds again
