Re: Head Coaching News and Rumors
I can believe he didn't want to work with Mickey, but that is a ballsy ask when interviewing for a job.

This may be his ONLY chance as HC with the Jets. I wish him well. He has a lot of work to do. |

Re: Head Coaching News and Rumors
It’s possible that Glenn or one of the coaches he planned to add to his staff has struggled with alcoholism in the past and cannot be around someone like Mickey.

Re: Head Coaching News and Rumors
Looks like we're getting into slim pickins territory guys. Looks like our team is less than ideal because of the GM and the cap situation.

Flores and KK out of that list. KK is still getting a check from AZ. Not sure he's motivated yet. He did decent with a shorty QB in AZ.

Look, I'd love to have one of the young wunderkinds come in and revolutionize this franchise. But I wonder if we have the right GM to make it all happen. It just feels like they'll want someone more proven, with HC experience and the vision for leading an entire team, not just the offense or the defense. If we "end up" with McCarthy we'll all be happy because the Saints will be in the playoffs again inside 2 years. |
