![]() On the final day of the 2025 NFL Draft the New Orleans Saints added two offensive players and three defenders, shoring up some areas with depth and possible starters while sticking to the script of bringing in versatile producers who possessed the character makeup the franchise seeks.
New Orleans drafted Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman (No. 112 overall) and Louisville cornerback Quincy Riley (131) in the fourth round, Kansas running back Devin Neal (184) in the sixth round and UCLA tight end Moliki Matavao (248) and Syracuse edge Fadil Diggs (254) in the seventh. Add to that collection Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. (No. 9) in the first round, Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough (40) in the second and Texas defensive tackle Vernon Broughton (71) and safety Jonas Sanker (93) in the third, and New Orleans' first draft class under Coach Kellen Moore totals four offensive and five defensive players. ![]()

I think this is a solid draft. It would've been good to get a WR but these picks seem solid.
I like the Saints RB's. Kendre Miller showed flashes his rookie year but DA had the ass for him and sidelined him for most of the season last year. |

I understand that two players were taken on day two one round before they were expected to be drafted. But we got the players we wanted for our new coaches with no trades or loss of draft capital. I feel good about this draft. Also, the Saints UDFA's look like potentially high level sneaky good signings. I can't wait to study this class and get ready for an exciting TC. Who Dat! ![]() |
