Personally I'd like to not only see the Tush Push banned, but any play that allows an offensive player without the ball to push, pull, lift, or carry a ball carrier to gain yardage. Agreed. We should go back to the previous ruleset where the push was banned. There was no good reason to revise the rule, and now we're seeing the adverse results. Football is about tackling and blocking, and the pushing hurts the spirit of the game.

I'm also disappointed that the Lions chickened out and didn't push harder for the seeding change. Division winners are already awarded by a guaranteed playoff berth. Let the winning percentage dictate the seeding as it's more logical.

I heard there was little to no support for their seeding proposal. Someone today mentioned that it changed you might as well stop rewarding Division Champion banners to be hung and replace them with Seeding banners instead.
