The issue I have with both these QB's is neither have done anything in the first half of games.

All of the success has been had against guys that likely won't be on a roster.

If either of them came out and led a TD drive against starters, I'd feel different. But getting "hot" when we are down 13 points to backups, just makes me nervous that we are about to get blown out every week by 30+ points against actual starters.

We showed and fought with spunk today. I feel good about their energy.

It's preseason, diz. We ain't winning the Super Bowl so look for the positives. Lots of youth on this team and potential. It will only get better. I have been more impressed and hopeful with Shough myself. I love his size, creativity, and speed running to the edge. Rattler has showed some decent stuff, as well.

All that said, of course we're going 20-0 Baby!!

SP gave us his sloppy seconds with Vele and we saw why today with their other WR who caught a TD using his body as a shield en route to the endzone. We also saw Lucas Krull whom the previous Saints staff gave up on as a TE. Don't we need TEs? I think it'll work out with Vele. CKM is working to get more talent. We obviously need more. The defense does look much improved. I was glad to see the Kansas RB. He looked good. We didn't see the TE from UCLA. That does not bode well. We'll see.

Regular season begins. Temper your expectations. I suspect our record will match or exceed last year's. Praying for a 2-2 start versus the toughest portion of the schedule.

I see much more upside in Shough than Rattler. He may already be the better QB, but I would not start him yet. I would ease the transition. There are certain looks that he needs to familiarize himself with a bit better. I love his arm, though. He can make some incredible throws. I truly think we have a winner in him. He seems like one of those guys who pushes through adversity. People criticizing are forgetting that he is a rookie who has not played as much as he should have. He's only going to improve.

How does Isiah Foskey go from "Notre Dames all time leader in sacks" to not even being able to beat Costco employees on the offensive line?

Honestly, he broke Justin Tucks sack record, wtaf?

Yeah he didn't even show up against the Broncos third string. We should cut him, but if we do he will probably be a probowler for another team.
