Heck, just the other day I heard talk on NFL Radio that the future looks great for the Saints as far as on the offensive line with the four 1st rounders and McCoy, probably the most important of all, as a 2nd rounder.![]()
And, no, I wouldn't call injuries acceptable, but I do know they are all part of the game. They are unfortunate, but cannot be blamed on anyone in most cases. But I agree it might behoove us to load up on more o-linemen in the draft hoping that it can result in more depth. |

Re: Quarterbacks
Rattler or Shough? Former GM says Saints have an easy choice in QB decision
'He has way more upside' John Sigler Saints Wire Who should the starting quarterback be when the New Orleans Saints come running out of the tunnel in Week 1? According to former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum, it should be Tyler Shough, the team's second-round draft pick. Tannenbaum shared his take on ESPN's Get Up morning show: "He has way more upside than Spencer Rattler, this is somebody that started way back at Oregon, he's a little bit older. But this is a sneaky good offense with Rashid Shaheed, Chris Olave, and Alvin Kamara. Put Tyler Shough in, much higher ceiling. This offense will surprise people during the season." It wouldn't take much for the Saints to surprise some people. The team is regularly ranked near the bottom of the league in terms of watchability, and expectations are awful low. A couple of 30-point games would go a long way to busting the narratives that have begun to surround them. If head coach Kellen Moore and his staff believe Shough gives them a better chance to win, they should roll with him. Read the rest here ... |
