I do have to say that I like this schedule. It's front loaded with weaker teams and we have to face our tough competition through the middle part of the season... maybe that means we won't choke down the stretch b/c we don't have terrible teams to play down to! Let's just hope that our playoff standing isn't in question when we face Jacksonville and Dallas.

Not really. I mean, if you\'re in the league office, and you\'re creating the schedule, when do you put us on MNF? Can\'t do it after the Bye - that\'s the stretch run and we\'re playing tough teams... that\'s choking time for the Saints... at least over the last two years. Before the break our opponents aren\'t great. Maybe you could put the Atlanta or Tampa game on, but that\'s it. I mean - a national audience isn\'t really big on seeing NO at Carolina.

I like our schedule though... oops and I allowed to say that? I like free agents. Doesn\'t that mean I have to hate everything else? ;)

We had two phenominal games with Tampa, both times we were the underdog and both times we won. That, sir, is great football, and deserves a spot on Monday night. Not Washington vs. Dallas.

9-7, third place in the division tied with Carolina, but we end up on top b/c they beat us 16 - 10 and we beat them 31 - 24 (thus giving us the win by 1 point)... oh yeah, after starting out 6-1 we fall to 6-4... come roaring back to 9-4 and then collapse to 9-7, and end up watching the playoffs again in \'03. Now that\'s a Saints season baby!!!
