Another one bites the dust
Anyone just get the Queen song stuck in their head ????
To the real story : Another Saints executive leaves team The fallout in the Saints front office continued Wednesday. On Tuesday, the club accepted the resignation of Mike Feder, a front-office executive who had spearheaded the club’s operations in Baton Rouge this season, according to two team sources. An official announcement is expected later today. No reason was given for the move. Sources familiar with the situation say Feder was uncomfortable in his working relationship with executive-owner Rita Benson LeBlanc. The granddaughter of owner Tom Benson, Benson LeBlanc has gained power in the organization since the firing of executive vice president of administration Arnold Fielkow Oct. 17. A day after Fielkow’s firing, marketing director Conrad “Connie Kowal resigned. In addition to his duties with the Saints, Feder also served as executive director of the New Orleans Voodoo of the Arena Football League. Feder cleaned out his desk Wednesday afternoon. Feder joined the Saints in 2001 as the regional director of sales and marketing. He was named the executive director of VooDoo in 2003. Before joining the Saints, Feder spent 28 years in various front-office roles in minor league baseball. He joined the Saints after working 12 years as the president and general manager of the Tucson Sidewinders of the Triple A Pacific Coast League. http://www.nola.com/newslogs/breakin...09.html#092892 |
