So What Will You Do Sunday?
Add more pins to your Benson voodoo doll? Take time to write Haz with that triple-reverse Statue of Liberty play you always wanted to send?
I'm gonna spend the day without football. Probably kabobs on the grill. Head over to the Tallahassee Civic Center for 'Nole Basketball Fan Day, watch some exhibition round ball and drink five dollar drafts. How 'bout you? 8) |
RE: So What Will You Do Sunday?
Well, for me, tomorrow is the much anticipated Princeton-Yale football game, so I doubt that I'll be allowed to have a sniff of football on Sunday. That being said, there's always hope for a peek or two at the Giants game and see SOMEONE from New Orleans on a winning team.
|
Well - since I do a little betting on games on the side I will mosey down to a sports bar and see if I can pick some winners.
|
the only thing that sucks about this week is that the saints can't get to 2-8. well they will accomplish that next wek. then 2-9 so we can be assured the losing season and the end of the pathetic haz routine. i have zero interest in the saints right now. the season is over haz sucks and we need to clean house. keep some of the young guys. trade anyone with value and start a new.
i will be watching football for my fantasy. hey man just think at least we have the hope of landing a decent coach next year. whether it happens or not well... |
Pop in a tape from the late 80's or early 90's, and remember what it felt like to root for a winner.
|
I am going to go see the Giants and or Colts game... Root for our homeys.

If Giants aren't playing, then it is the Saints, while flipping to the Colts if they are playing. It use to be, however, that nothing could come between me and a Saint game. Those days are temporarily over...hopefully not permanently. I know a lot of people will take offense to this, but I have just had a belly full of AB and Haz. Haz because he plays AB ALL OF THE TIME, and doesn't seem to know a good O or D coordinator if one came up and bit him in the butt. My blood pressure rises when AB flashes that smile after a pick or something, so I had no other choice but to start tuning them out more often until they right the ship...or just get a new QB. I know everyone doesn't feel this way, but I am being sincere. |
...mostly watch New England-Miami while flipping to the other games to see what's going on...
..then flip between Skins-Bucs and Panthers-Jets... |
I think I will take care of the wife tomorrow. It has to be real upsetting for her, I mean with the Saints losing all the time and her being married to a loser, she must be ready to kill herself. I think we can make love and eat some cheese and crackers and drink wine in front of a roaring fireplace on silk sheets.......wait a damn minute this is not going to happen.
Probably watch San Diego or some other west coast team since I live in the freakin desert. |
CheramieIII, I'm taking your plan. I need to spend time with my girlfriend who never gets the attention she deserves on Sundays. I may also watch the Chargers being that they are my second to favorite team.
|
I'm watching college.
|
On Sunday?
|
On Saturday. And I add, Alabama is no longer undefeated. Muahahahaha. Saturday football certainly seems better than Sunday football of late.
But you know, Sunday may be a good day to watch college football again. It might well be better than the alternative. |
on sunday..
This sunday, i'll watch the two games that the danish TV shows... Dolphins / Patriots and Seahawks / Rams.
And enjoy a weekend without a Saints loss. |
RE: on sunday..
Here, Here, DK. But we can't win either so I guess we can just be happy to watch football. I hope there is a good game today. I really got into that Bama-LSU game yesterday LOE. My MOMS was PEEEEEED. She was born in Birmingham and I lived there for about 4 years. There is always next year.

RE: on sunday..
It was beautiful, the D was a stone wall. Damn good game. But they sure need to something about that kicker though, that boy couldn't kick his way out of a paper bag. I was shocked they even attempted that ridiculous 49 yarder. I thought they would've been better off trying a go-for-it on fourth. Did they honestly believe that guy could kick 49 yards after all the other kicks he missed that night?
It's all good. So what is Bama now, 9-1? muahahahahahaha |
