Same ol same ol --- Is it or has it ever been Brooks fault for anything -- did the defense make him throw backwards -- did the offensive line make him fumble the snaps time and time again. Its not all his fault, maybe not even mostly his fault -- but he deserves blame like everyone else.
The right answer is Brooks still has potential -- whether right or wrong he has worn out his welcome with the Saints -- If Haz goes and we get a coach that doesn't coddle Brooks maybe he will grow up and realize that starting is a privelege not a right. The right coach may put a fire under him.
But stop the comparison with either Jake and especially not Manning -- Brooks has been a starter in this league for how many years -- Eli 1.5 years. I remember the same argument thrown around at will about Brooks -- oh he has only started in this league for 1 year, tghen 2, then 3, then 4, and you know what -- I have seen very little improvement over his inconsistency, his QB rating -- his dumb plays or the plays where he throws a cannon and proves he has a big league arm.
