I won\'t deny that I drool thinking about him going to the Saints (though many prefer Henderson). But because I want it to happen so badly, I\'m kinda sure it wont.

Rams are hurting all over on defense. I would say they are in alot worse shape than the Saints on defense. They need help...everywhere. A month ago, the talk was how they needed help in the secondary, with the losses of Bly and McCleon. This has not yet been addressed with any FA signings, yet the attention has now shifted to the LB position.
Basically, it goes back to the \"chess game\" principle of mine. I bet the Rams would tell you that they are looking to draft a RB, if it would help their chances on upgrading the value of their 1st round pick. ;)

its true that the rams are hurting on D, especiallly in the secondary, witht he loss of dre bly, i think they will be lookin at CB as well as LB.... it can go either way

In which case, they could trade up to get Trufant. Either way, I see the Rams taking someone I feel we need - Trufant or Bailey.

I\'m beginning to think the best scenario I can hope for is:
1) we trade up (1st and 3rd) with Minnesota to nab Trufant
2) nab Henderson with #18
3) nab best DT available in 2nd
4) win the Superbowl.......
5) and watch the Quarter go nuts while the National Guard is called out
