WWL radio has been reporting that Tom Benson met with the team and organization and told them "the facilities on Airline drive have been taken over by FEMA and the National Guard and haven't given it back," and "to stay away from New Orleans. New Orleans is unlivable."


Mr. Benson, you mean the facilites that are in excellent condition as proclaimed by Mr. Tagliabue? New Orleans is unlivable like every football player lived in the 9th ward and New Orleans East?

I think it is quite obvious at this point that Tom Benson is senile. My grandfather is 75 and their is no way in hell I would want someone in his mental shape making major decisions for an NFL franchise. I really don't even want him writing checks out of his own checkbook at this point. My point is this: The NFL needs to force Benson's hand and make him sell to Bradshaw's group or any other owner of integrity who has brain capacity of more than a 3 month old. This old bastard is meandering down the path of insanity and taking my football team with him. Check his old ass into a facility where he can drool all over himself and make him sign power of attorney so we can get a real owner in here.

he is blowing smoke up the team's A$$, those players should be smart enough to figure out that...Instead of looking at the situation in NO and realizing that the Saints could march in and be heroes and ambassadors of hope, Benson has relegated the team to defeatist thinking and the mediocrity that follows because he is either stupid, senile, or just wants to be a baby and quit...and lets face it isn't that what he has always given us...
