If you go by CBS's version, then by losing out, we will leap-frog either SF or Houston depending on who "wins" the "Bush Bowl" when they face each other in the last week, b/c our SoS is less than either of theirs, so far.
By losing to Detroit it would definitely improve our draft postition two-fold: One being the loss, of coarse. And two, it would add the Lions record to an already poor SoS. |
You are absolutely right. We COULD leapfrog the Texans or the 49ers. That's why I am hoping for this loss to Detroit. I think the Texans will beat the Niners, and there is NO WAY the 9ers take Leinart, AND there is no way they pass on Bush. GB plays Sea and Chi, but Sea could be resting starters at the end of the year. It all hinges in Detroit beating us.

And they said people who want the team to lose are not "true fans".

They also have us tied with the Jets for the 3rd pick. |
It appears the Huddle Report and NFL draftcountdown are for the full season when factoring SOS. So if we lose that last two and the Jets beat Buffalo the last game of the season and Houston beats the 49ers we will have the 2nd pick. Woo Hoo
How can they take full season though, if the season isn't over? Unless they already know who is gonna win the last two games of the season for every team.
if you look at the Huddle site for example they say full 16 game season and thats where I got that from.
and by the way NFL draft countdown has the same exact order and sos
Ok, since they can't possibly know what the SOS will be year end, I am gonna stick with CBS Sportsline who updates it weekly.
I agree, I was only pointing out the sos at each site and using it for my scenario. Did not mean to cause a riot. Hey Halo, I won't get banned for this crap will I. Just kidding.
