Hate to break it to you, but he's right. Don't know how many Longhorns are in the NFL HOF, but it's not about the NFL, is about college football, and other than RW breaking the yardage record in 1998, there aren't many Longhorns that stand out nationally for what they accomplishedin college. I bet any UT alumni would agree with Young.

As for the "Leinhart is classless" thing. It takes a lot to go to another teams locker room during their celebration & say "Hey Congrats!" This is especially tough after that other teams QB (Vince Young) taunted USC fans post game with remarks like "Who's the real Heismann?" Not to mention the classless ass he made of himself with the crystal football. But, the consensus is Leinhart's the classless one. GO FIGURE???? :roll: :roll: :roll:

It may be just me, but I kinda' like the thought of a QB who gets pissed off when he loses. It beats the hell out of someone who smiles & laughs about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

To those touting Omar Jacobs, no thanks. We have A-Mac already for what he does. I know it's cool to pick out the big name guy at the small colleges who shine, but i'll pass. Jacobs is not a franchise QB. No thanks. Good player, don't get me wrong. But a choice between him and a franchise QB is no choice.

Dude.....are you serious? Show me a guy that scores the game winning TD in a Title game with as much class as Young did the other night. There is no showboating on the field, just poise and leadership. Yes, he dances with his teammates...but he is strictly business on the field.

And the fact that you included dickerson is alarming. Earl Campbell comes to mind. Ricky Williams. Other than that....who are you gonna take from UT?

Read at a freshman level? He was the highest rated QB in college this year.

I am not convinced that he will be a good pro for 2 reasons:
-his throwing motion
-the spread offense that he thrived in

But, i watched him carve up my wolverines last year and I watched the title game this year. Probably the best 2 rose bowl games EVER by a player and I'm a big 10 guy. And....after every TD he's back on the bench ready to do it again. No showboating...just pure leadership and ability. When they went down 12, you could look in his eyes and see he was ready to get it done.

You can call out Young as hype for alot of reasons that I would agree with. No one game has ever influenced a guy's draft status like this.

But to call Vince Young classless and retarded is, well....classless and retarded.

I'm not a UT fan at all. But, I do root for this kid. Do me a favor and google "vince young"+"gang" and read the dallas paper article about young and then you can come back here and tell me how classless he is.

I think thats a good idea the whole getting a Veteren QB who has stared in the league more than 5 times haha and let him start the first few games not the whole seaosn i think that stupid we have to start leinart when we draft him mabe not right off but like maybe week 5 or something im not for the whole benching thingy i dont want this to be like a whole Philip Rivers deal.....
