Bush, Leinart, Young, Hawk, or Ferguson

Okay here are the top 5 in the draft so how do we get the most out off the #2 pick?
That is if bush comes out. He is the last piece of the puzzle. Anyone know his major and gpa?
This should be good. Lets put it all in one section.
Me I say trade down to four and take AJ. Might do it twice to get there. It is possible
Can anyone change my mind?
Bring it on

I agree with ya don't want to change your mind. We should get some good picks out of the 2 trade downs and a QB from the Titans, can anyone say Volek.

I was thinking about the trading down scenario. Im not sure that opion will be available. The Titans you would think would be happy with either of the QBs considering the connection they have with each. (McNair to Young/ Chow to Lienart) So who says they will make a trade? And the Jets have been quoted as saying they are sticking with Pennington. A new coach may not feel the same, but that is where they stand now. So how is this going to work? Im not bashing it I like the trade down theory. Just not sure if it will work.

The one thing that may help this cause is if the Texans draft Young.

Bingo Young going home to Houston would be key for 2 moves to 4. But houston need a line so bad. I see them trading out with hmmm ? Poor Carr is the most beat up QB since Archie.

The Texans have said that they are going to take Reggie Bush.

I read on ESPN Insider that the Jets are going to stick with Pennington, and he also said this last week that he'll be 100% by next season.

How about the chance of drafting a franchise quarterback? I know that does it for me. Sure AJ Hawk is great, but there are a lot of really good LBs in this draft. There are not a lot of really good QBs.

It is poker time and i do not see them standing pat on bush. They will trade in a heart beat down or get rid of carr, davis no one is safe for the next two years there. I see the jets going after bush or Ferguson if not they will trade down. Tenn is all about usc and Steve would be a great teacher for Matt.

Steve has already took VY under his wing a few years ago at a football camp. The two of them have train together in the offseason the last couple of years. Thats were VY will land

If the Titans think we will take Young they will want to trade with us. Give us Volek and we trade with them. Then we take Hawk at three or trade down and let the Jets take Leinart. You know they will and give us say a DT or second round pick. The we get Hawk at the four and fill almost all of our wholes in the first round. How can you guys not see this shiiiiit.

You guys will hate me but keep brooks redo his contract then trade him after a good year. right now we will get a 4 at best after this year. Trade him next year. Trade donte this year after the draft along with howard before the draft if all pieces fall into place with the draft.

I wouldn't draft either Leinart or Young. I would try to get 2 1st round picks for 2007 and use them to get Brady Quinn then, and get AJ Hawk this year.

As for who needs a QB:

Pennington's shoulder is a mess. I would think that the Jets would try to get someone behind Pennington, or flat out replace him. He's good, but not that good that you are going to pay him millions to be watching the game with a cast on the sideline.

As for the Titans, it depends how they feel about Volek. If they are confident in Volek, then they don't draft QB, and may be looking to take AJ Hawk. If that's the case, Saints wouldn't be able to trade down if indeed the Saints are looking to take AJ.
