14:04 PT: Updating an ongoing story, the AP reports the New Orleans Saints and WR Joe Horn are close on a contract extension. It appears both sides are likely to agree upon a three-year deal in the neighborhood of $4.5 to $5 million per season with a signing bonus of $6 or $7 million. Horn said if a deal is not accomplished by the start of the early May minicamp, he will be forced to skip it. Glory be! I'll be glad when this is done. :P |
