I could'nt agree more. This would be the best pick since Archie, in my opinion.

Maybe in two or three years. VY is not NFL ready. He has really bad mechanics. Not to mention he'd have to learn a completely new type of offense, unless the new Saints coach likes to run the option. And he's not the smartest guy ----> AMAC

Say what you want about Young but he has 2 HUGE wins in big games and perhaps one of the best perfomances in College Championship games. YOu want to pass on a player that took the game on his back and WON for someone who lost.

one qb had a great game against a great defense and one qb had a great game vs a horrible defense.

usc was ranked 40(horrible) texas was ranked 4(great) .

if you watched the entire game, texas barely won and if white would have gotten another 6 inches on that 4th down play at the end of the game usc would have one.

leinart and young were not playing against eachother. it wasn't a one on one basketball game.

leinart ran his pro-style offense like a field general and young ran an option offense without making any changes at the line.

excuses, excuses. if white gets 6 more inches, what about if the corn on my foot wasn't itching. was usc's defense good enough to beat every other team they played?

if lienart was the field general you're trying so hard to claim he is, he would've field generaled the team into the endzone and not leave it to chance on vince. exactly the situation he would be in with the saints if he were here, no defense to stop anybody. so he is already proven he couldn't make it here as well before hand. audible to a pass and throw for a first down, no he's too stupid to read the texas defense.

That's like bragging on Brooks doing well against the Jets defense. Oh wait, you did. USC's defense sucked, TX was great. Leinart was great against one of the better defenses in the country, Young was great against a mediocre defense. Amazing/ :roll:

First of all, you're a moron. Second of all, they weren't playing against each other. Last time I checked neither Leinart nor Young play on defense. So, Young beat a mediocre defense. Leinart beat a great defense. It just turns out that USC's defense was bad enough to let VY socre at the end.

Euph, go read my post in Leinart or Young, and you'll understand that Leinart had a better game through the air than Young, and he did it against the 2nd rated passing defense in the country. If you don't understand that, than I'll chalk it up to ignorance

third off, the excuses you're making sound like people making for brooks after the saints lost a game in which their defense couldn't stop anybody. so in other words lienart hasn already proven he wouldn't make it in saintville, cause as bad as you say usc's defense is it's better than the saints now.

who won the game? did texas have the likes of bush, white are any wr the stable that usc had on the field? no! in other words lienart had the weapons to destroy any defense he had more weapons at usc than he would see any where else. and what did he do with all those weapons he lost to a middle of the road defense.

Well that proves it, you have no idea what you're talking about. Like I've said countless times, UT's overall defense was ranked 6th in the country, and their passing D was 2nd. Obviously, anybody who had a brain (and their own place to live) would know this by now.

And all of those weapons? Every year UT has a top 10 recruiting class. It's not like VY's playing with a Baylor-eque team. UT has all the talent in the world, VY's just never been able to take advantage of it.
