Will Payton be able to fire Benson's Blwbuddy Venturi?
Before thinking about getting rid of any players, the saints need to make staff changes starting with Venturi. Venturi has done absolutely nothing during his time here. All around the league defensive coordinaters are getting hired as head coaches, especially ones that have been around as long as Venturi. HE SUCKS

RE: Will Payton be able to fire Benson
Interesting question....

RE: Will Payton be able to fire Benson
Oh I agree thats the first thing he needs to jump on is staff before the good ones are gone. Its going to take a lot to get Venturi canned. Benson has protected him for so long now but its time to cut him loose but what may actually happen is he be promoted in some FO capacity.

RE: Will Payton be able to fire Benson
jesus man i hope so
|
They will find a place for him. Knowing the Saints he will be Strength and conditioning coach. Bring in Buddy Ryan as defensive coordinator.
|
I think Venturi will be gone. I think that everything the Saints do now is so much more magnified that something as ridiculous as keeping Venturi would completely discredit Payton and the franchise.

I am reading we may have a DC for GB
|
I wish I was Loomis for just one day, I'd show them how to clean house.
|
I hope he's gone and hire Henderson before the Packers snatch him up.
|
ahh that would be nice cherm. hey i read a nice article on nola about how loomis would be picking who he thought would get the job done because if payton fails it looks bad on him
|

here, from proffotballweekly.com
Parcells’ top offensive aide picked for Saints' job The Saints named Cowboys assistant head coach Sean Payton, 42, as their new head coach on Wednesday. Payton is considered a creative offensive coach with a QB background. He has an attractive lineage Payton most recently worked under Bill Parcells in Dallas and was chosen by general manager Mickey Loomis to lead the Saints back into New Orleans and out of the NFC basement after they finished a conference-worst (based on schedule strength) 3-13 to earn the No. 2 overall draft pick. The Dallas Morning News reported Payton requested permission from the Cowboys to hire LB coach Gary Gibbs as his defensive coordinator and OL coach Tony Sparano as offensive coordinator. Another report tied former Packers coordinator Jim Bates to the Saints. |
Thanks dude. I thought I saw it before, just curious where I saw it at and wanted to make sure my meds were working.

That's what we need someone else to come in and bust some kneecaps, like we don't already have enough injuries.
:itsgood: |
there is also the possibility that Henderson is leaving the Jets, He was being looked at as a Head Coach I'd be happy to have him as a Defensive coordinator. Sean can coach the O and Donnie the D
|
ventura gone I will cry.... Because I would be so happy
|
Rumors say maybe Bates, but I would also love Henderson.
