Time Running Short for Haz?

Not looking good, at the moment, for Haz. Will he be hired for a head coach position? Should he?

Haz does deserve another shot! This year cannot be blamed totally on him. This years team is the poster child of what coulda, shoulda, woulda happed had not Katrina rudely destroyed the great city of New Orleans. Who knows how the season would have gone, but Haslett should be given another chance, though its looking more and more like Oakland might be his last chance this season. GEAUX SAINTS

Of all of the remaining openings:

Buffalo
Detroit - Looks like Marinelli
Houston - Kubiak is the odds on fave
Oakland - Who would want Al Davis for an owner
St. Louis

Who do you think will give Haz a second chance . . . looks like Buffalo and St. Louis are the only real choices. Good luck Jim, BTW if you need a QB we have one for you. You are real familiar with his style and capabilities.

This seems to be a bad year for retreads as a whole. Have any former HCs been hired yet besides Herman Edwards????

Well seems like teams across the board want new blood and not the same old also-rans. I like our chances. With so many new coaches it evens out the playing field a bit.

Buffalo Bills .....

"It appears that former New Orleans Saints coach Jim Haslett, who once played linebacker for the Bills and also served on the Buffalo coaching staff, will not be a candidate for the job. In the wake of Mularkey's resignation, Haslett was often cited as the front-runner for the vacancy. The Bills, though, have not arranged to meet with Haslett."

"As team officials approach the completion of the interview process, Dom Capers, who has served as head coach for two expansion franchises, will meet with the Buffalo Bills on Friday about the club's vacancy, ESPN.com has learned."

"Hall of Fame receiver James Lofton interviewed for the Buffalo Bills coaching job Thursday."
