he is still one of my favorite players. ditka was an idiot for giving up so much for him, but i love to watch him run the ball. deuce and ricky would make a great backfield.

I saw something the other day that stated they may use him to trade for another QB.

I am amazed that anyone wants this pteradactyl armed flake on this team. How could you want to undo the best personnel move of the Haz era? What if he decides he wants to be a BMX star? Or an astronaut? Or a test engineer for Graphix Bongs?

It's time to put the recent history behind us. No Ricky. No Turley. No AB. It's time to move on.

Good point. We need some stability and unity on this team, and that's not exactly Ricky's specialty.

I think everyone is probably not realizing that perhaps Ricky wouldn't WANT to come here.

He's staying put i think. They aren't going to trade him for a QB. First of all what QB is out there that is of Ricky's value, a top notch RB with a rock bottom salary??? They would have to have a great offer to give up an asset like him. Second of all they'll probably pick Cutler in the draft.

Many of his current Dolphins teammates would say otherwise.

I think he smoked pot and was reborn. We should all get together and smoke pot and see if the Saints are any easier to watch on Sundays, maybe I'm missing something.

I think we need more linebackers first, as many of them as we can get. Draft them, trade for them, and we should hire Pat Swilling and get him out of politics to be the LB coach, he was a pretty nasty SOB from what I remember.

Now you want the weeder call of the day? Bring back Morten Anderson for one more year and dump Carney!!!! :pink:

I'd bet anyone that Morty is more proficient than Carney right now, and I think last season was the only one he didn't start in the NFL. Did he retire? He said he wanted to be the first to play at 50 years old, and when last I checked he was with KC year before last and won some games for them. :shock:

What, cuz they don't torch him in the media, we know the locker room dynamic in Miami?

I mean, sure, I heard Jason Taylor support him, but who cares? Look at the actions. The guy walked out on his team too late for him to be replaced in the offseason and too close to the season to adjust. He pretty much destroyed any chance that team had 2 years ago. How can anybody support that? How can anyone want to go out there on Sundays and spill your guts next to a guy who has retired once and threatened to retire while he was a Saint.

Again, Haz's most shining moment....You wanna play for the Texas Rangers, cool. We'll grab a running back. Haul Ass. Why he didn't walk a hard line with others, I'll never know.

Look, I'm all for weed, but ditching your familyand your team to grow a nappy a$$ beard, get high, and wander asia in the prime of your career spells FLAKE. There is no reason to support that guy...ever. This team has plenty of things to address without bringing his weird a$$ into the equation.

No matter who we have at RB, we haven't had a great FB to open holes since Lorenzo Neal. Oh yeah, how many Pro Bowls has he made since he left? Look what that guys doing for L.T. Good move FO!!!

Didnt ricky leave here with bad feelings toward the Saints i dont think he would come back.....

I would want ricky back who knows when if he will play or just leave again.........

All we have to do to get him back is get him a hefty bag full of Maui Wowee & he'll play on both sides of the ball!

I've done it before....smoked out with Jonathan Sullivan before a game and we raided the buffet in luxury suites....me and Sully watched the game from the sidelines with a full belly and stoned to the gills. It STILL didn't make it any easier to watch.

look now Rickey has Holistic med. pratice he can get high without the nfl being able to catch him. i say party on rick. He did everything we asked him to do. he became a hell of a reciever and blocker while he was here. Those were the knocks against him out of college. I saw him become a better all around player and it seems he finally learned to hold onto the ball. Price is right i would take him if they throw in a QB say bye bye to AB and low mid round pick

ricky needed to go find himself...he did that and has since proven that he is still one of the elite runners in the game. i would love to have ricky back. if we traded brooks and a 3rd or 4th rounder for ricky and ferrotte it would be a great deal. we get rid of brooks...lose a pick that we would use on somebody who would probably not make the team anyways...gain a top tier runningback and a veteren qb to help our rookie qb along.

I like what the Saints have done the last couple of weeks, let's don't mess that up by talking about bringing Ricky back, he's a cancer to the team he plays for, don't be fooled by how he acted this pass season, that was just about setting himself up for another big payday, he's a joke, he will go back to the old Ricky in short matter of time.

Forget Ricky guys. I live in Miami and the scoop is that Saban loves him. They may let go of Brown before they do Ricky. I saw a couple of Dolphins games this year and I hate to say it but.....he's faster now then he's ever been. The team is also very supportive of him sooooo....let this one go.
