Just saw it scroll across ESPN news, round 5:30am. Anyone have any details? All it said was he failed his fourth substance abuse test.

Report: Ricky Williams violates NFL drug policy

Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams has violated the NFL's substance abuse policy for a fourth time and is facing a one-year suspension from the league, Denver television station KDVR reported on Sunday.

The Miami Herald, citing two sources of its own, confirmed the station's report that Williams has violated the policy, although neither source would say whether Williams had failed a drug test or if he had missed a required test, which also is a violation.

Ha Ha Ha...Just when he's the subject of trade rumors. Now its a year off. I wonder where he'll end up this year on his holistical sabbatical. I think we may have seen the last of Ricky in an NFL uniform. I'm just glad he's the dolphins problem and not ours :wink:

the nfl tests for weed, but not human growth hormone. that is what is the most crazy about all of this. so what ricky likes the ganja, he is still a great running back.

i'd pay him his current salary of $500,000 a year. put him on the depth chart behind stecker. if he doesn't do anything, no big loss, if he does you gain a lot. all this assuming he wins his appeal.

He did fail the test but the substance in question is different. It is not a marijuana problem now. Details as to the exact substance have not been released yet.

I knew it wouldn't take Ricky long to find a nice sack in Miami.
