How about Willie McGinest?
 

What does anybody think about us trying to sign McGinest? Maybe we can get him for less than what the Pats were going to pay him next year( 7 million), then we draft a linebacker ( maybe third round0 that could learn from a winning veteran like Willie.

it would be awesome if we got him but I don't think he's gonna come to a losing team. I see him resigning with the pats

I'd take McGinest if he'd be willing to come here cheap, which i dont foresee. I think any 30+ y/o vet is gonna try to get the best deal. If NO doesn't offer him the most money, there's no chance he comes here. I like what i hear about Witherspoon. I hope they continue to focus their efforts on him.

Whitherspoon has more years in the tank. I would focus there. However If Mcinnist is reasonable I would take him.
