Does anybody think they could sign Brees and still draft Leinart? Mickey Loomis did mention drafting "the best player available" He even referred to when we drafted Deuce and Will Smith. That would Drew Brees right back in the same boat he was in before.

Why would you want both of them, the Chargers has Brees and Rivers paying dearly for the two of them only to have one standing on the sidelines, besides look at all the money the Saints would have to dish out for the two, I say take Bress and deal Drew or Young, I'd prefer having one or the other QB's and adding Walker to the lineup instead, we would have a good QB and 4 good receivers, Henderson, Horn, Stallworth and Walker?, with a healthy Deuce and a better OL look out.
I guess I'm dreaming but with the looks of things these days for the Saints my dream could easily come true.

This really settles all the arguments over whether Brooks is any good or not.

Yes Walker of G.B, last I heard he doesn't want to play for Green Bay and he would be traded, this was only a few days ago.

LTF..I found a number of articles today stating the packers GM Thompson has said that they are not going to trade walker and that he will have to fulfill his contract...Walker has said he would give back some money in order to get out of GB, but GBaing budging
