The Saints reportedly are interested in Carolina Panthers free-agent outside linebacker Will Witherspoon. He, San Francisco's Julian Peterson and Washington's LaVar Arrington are three of the best in the NFL at arguably the Saints' greatest position of need. All three could join Brees among the most expensive free agents on the market.

Another free agent the Saints will likely attempt to sign is Dallas Cowboys tight end Dan Campbell. The 29-year-old blocking specialist has a close relationship with Saints coach and former Cowboys offensive coordinator Sean Payton.

Another appealing free agent is veteran center Kevin Mawae, a former LSU and New York Jets standout. Mawae's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said he has spoken with Loomis and plans to continue talking with him, but no specific plans have been made.

steal one of the Cowboy's offensive captains? hell yeah....thought about bringing this guy up, he'd be a good player to have.

He'd help open up hilton in 2 sets. Plus he can block and CATCH, something CONWELL sure couldn't do!

Is all this for real? This is great, but it doesn't sound like our front ofice.
