Linebackers Draft 2006

If no other significant free agent LBs are signed it will be exciting to anticipate a high impact/starting backer available at #34. This is one of the best LB classes in recent history with 2 to 5 first rounders, and about 10 in the 1st and 2nd combined. Hawk is looking like a top 5-7 pick and could be possible if Brees signs and trading down. Greenway looks like a sure mid first rounder that probably will not fall the saints way. the class is so deep though you would think one of Abdul Hodge, DeMeco Ryans, Bobby Carpenter, or D'Qwell Jackson would be there to be had at the 2nd rd selection. I think anyone of those 4 would be an immediate upgrade over the current starters.

that would go a long way towards soothing my bitterness of taking bullocks over nfl defensive rookie of the year LB odell thurman and seattle leading tackler LB lofa tatupu who also had 4 sacks and 3 interceptions.
